7. Sally/Sonic (sonic the hedgehog SatAM) - I love that they’re BEST FRIENDS, despite the fact that Sally is a princess and he seems to be something of a troublemaker. She calls him out when he does something bullheaded, which is often. He believes in her more than anyone else and wants to keep her safe. She awards him kisses and hugs when he does something very heroic and he wraps his arms around her and races across the universe as he holds her. They have lives outside one another, but at the end of the day there is this underlying need to their friendship/relationship.

6. Toph/Sokka (avatar: the last airbender) - Originally I was Zuko/Toph, but this was back when Toph was still pretty new and Zuko hadn’t yet joined the gang and interacted with her. Sokka/Toph grabbed my heart and ran away with it somewhere in the third season. They’re another pair of Best Friends (which, by the way, is a theme through a lot of these pairings). They back one another up in most fights, they get into mischief together, they tell one another things that they’ve never said to anyone before. Yes, there’s an age gap, but it won’t look so big in time. Also, I love the tragedy that you can bring to it. Yue dies and Suki goes missing and Toph is there and real and Sokka is still afraid. It’s the whole ‘your first love is lost and gone forever but I’m still here and I love you’ thing that I love so damn much.

5. Sasuke/Sakura (naruto) - Okay so the very first time I ever saw Naruto it was the English Dub right about this part in the manga and I fell head over heels for these two. It’s how he wakes up and immediately asks who hurt her and how she stops him from killing everyone by hugging him. And it’s so damn clear that she loves him and knows him well enough to see that something inside of him is going terribly wrong and I have so much damn affection for girls who are passionate about the boys they love and I love characters that seem to be strongest when they’re weak.

4. Riku/Sora/Kairi (kingdom hearts) - Oh gosh, I love this OT3. I love Kingdom Hearts! KH basically has two plots - a long, complicated one involving light and dark and another that is simply the story of three friends trying to find one another so that they can get home. Honestly, this is the only way that makes sense to me. Excluding one of them from the love affair feels wrong. PS THE GAME SHIPS IT TOO I SWEAR - LOOK AT THOSE HANDS! ;_; So OT3 goddamn.

3. Johnny/Ripp/Ophelia (strangetown, here we come) - Haha, sure you saw this one coming. I wasn’t sure about putting it here or not, but I’ve basically drawn more for this OT3 than any other pairing (save maybe Helga/Arnold). And it’s basically that same - they are best friends who have been together for so long and mean so much to one another that the lines have blurred almost completely. They love each other, so why make anyone pick who they love best? I’m head over heels for JRO and they are my most favorite thing about Strangtown, Here We Come.

















2. Squall/Yuffie (kingdom hearts) - My crackiest OTP and part of my own personal KH canon. Hey, there hasn’t been anything that says otherwise, so why the hell not? I love that she’s bouncing and loud and probably annoys him time and again. I love that he’s mostly silent, but is always looking to protect her (he tells her to run when the Heartless attack the Green Room). Also, I adore the fanon - they share the bed in the green room for one reason or another, they fight together most of the time because they’re first partnered together in the Coliseum - it’s all just so damn cute.

1. Helga/Arnold (hey arnold!) - Of course. I think I’ve basically already summed up my love for them before:

“Helga/Arnold is still the best HA! ship. Why?

Because she loves him and maybe, he loves her too (just a little!). She's the one person he could never walk away from, the one problem that he could never fix. a/n: It's image heavy, but OMG MY OTP/3s!!!!!!! It was fun to go back and revisit all of my old fandoms and really pick out, which ships have meant the most to me. Also, I took the fanart without permission, but everything is credited and clicking each picture takes you to the owner's DA account. Anything that doesn't have text saying who made it underneath is either a) a screenshot from the actual game/show/etc or b) made by me.

Also, I tried to do pairings from various fandoms. I managed except for the two KH ones, but you could say that Squall/Yuffie is actually a Final Fantasy Crossover...kind of. In any case, I've been influenced by both (Squffie moreso than RiSoKai) and it didn't feel right excluding one or the other. :\

Awww. I always liked Squall/Yuffie, but they weren't in the game enough :( :( :(.

AND OMG the pictures of Helga! She's so scrawny and dorky, and they made her look ~sexy~.

And Riku/Sora/Kairi. Such a OT3...I could never decide which was meant to end up with who, and it's so obvious that the boys both like her at the beginning of the game, and yes.

I wouldn't have even noticed the itty bitty Squall/Yuffie bits if I hadn't started reading a S/Y fic. After that I was hooked! I love the age gap and how he probably would feel all sorts of guilty because she's so young and he's so burdened, but he still needs her to help him all the time.

Helga is prettiest when she's been roughed up a bit. Like, she's so damn pretty in Arnold's Valentine after she vomits her guts out. And in Biosquare when she has to save Arnold from drowning.

INORITE? In the first game, I probably could have gone any way with the ships, though I was mostly Sora/Kairi (because Riku was a big dumb prick), but after the second one? No, they are so damn OT3 and there is no other option.

Lol, I know! At first I was just going to do one image for each and then I was like: "BUT THESE FANARTS ARE SO PRETTY!" so I added some and then put in some that I did and soon it blew up into this.

Haha, I can't really deny that JRO has wormed it's way in there. I've drawn so much for them and written stuff too and I'm still following it and getting those little heart twinges when I see them together.

I do love that last one. Her style is absolutely gorgeous - I love the ones where they're hanging upside down. And Arnold's plaid shirt gets put on Helga a lot in fanart. XD

I actually might do a real HA! fanart picspam at some point, because I love so much that the fandom produces.

I LOVE THIS. I'm SO doing this. I never shipped Helga/Arnold, but I like them together.

Although- Sasuke/Sakura?!?!?!?!?!?! I ALWAYS shipped Naruto/Sakura, then I saw the error of my ways and started shipping Naruto/Hinata, because they're adorable and cute and AHHHHHHH. (They're my OTP for sure, is it THAT obvious?) :P

DO IT. It's fun! I love talking about ships/pimping art. Plus it was fun to kind of recall my own fan history. I kind of want to do something like this again, but with characters instead of ships. But I fear it'll be pretty similar to the ship list order wise anyway.

Lol, everyone ships Helga/Arnold. It's instinctual. They are basically the most OTP OTP to ever exist. They're constantly bringing out the best in one another and the show itself is so very Helga/Arnold. One day I will create a gigantic list of all the H/A moments in Hey Arnold and it will be glorious.

Sasuke/Sakura hit about the time when I was completely void of inspiration and then I started writing like a fiend. Also, its got the same basic set up that I love - the girl is irrevocably in love with the boy and is strongest when she is protecting him or fighting for love of him. The boy is somewhat oblivious or ignorant, but obviously gets it in some part of his mind and maybe loves her back just a little.

Actually, Naruto/Sakura has grown on me - I'm a sucker for BFF love. But Naruto/Hinata is really adorable too!

DO IT. It's fun. You have to choooooose! And then you have to think of an order! And then you have to ramble on about your OTPs and in the end it basically comes out to: "OMGTHEYARESOCUTE!"

Also, Hey Arnold! is the shit. The cast is large and memorable and there's so much zaniness and it gets funnier as the series goes on and it's amazing at balancing humor/drama and the characters will tug on your heartstrings forever.

I recommend Arnold's Valentine (Season 1), The Flood (season 3), Parent's Day (Season 4), Buses Bikes and Subways (Season 4), Helga on the Couch (Season 4).

Arnold's Valentine will make you a total Helga/Arnold shipper, the Flood will be full of shenanigans and my favorite h/a moment ever, Parent's Day will make you cry like a bitch, Buses Bikes and Subways is all Helga and Harold interaction and they have the best voice actors out of the whole cast and are just so fun to see stuck together, Helga on the Couch will explain why Helga loves Arnold and you will sob manly tears because it is so damn OTP.

Augh, I have my top two (the easiest part for me, actually, as they're two pairings I outright REFUSE to stop shipping even when one is from forever ago for me and the other has been "sunk" in the books it's from...), but the rest of the seven are a bit harder to decide....

I love Toph. Though, I think Sokka is my very favorite character. I like that he has a sad past, but he doesn't dwell on the sad bits except for every once in awhile something will put a dent in his cheerful walls and we get to really see him.

And LOL at your crush on Dante Basco. I'm really not fond of Zuko/Katara, because Aang/Katara is all kinds of adorable and because Zuko, as a character, bugs me.

OMG SONIC X SALLY...not a surprise, but it's great to see that pairing get the love it deserves. :DDDD I'm also not surprised to see that Helga/Arnold tops your list and every ship ever .

But...I am surprised to see that somebody ships Tokka. After the finale, the Tokkaneers depleted hard and FAST. That...was a pity.

I am SO not a gamer girl...when I played Kingdom Hearts, I died within seconds of first encountering the Heartless. And I sat in jealousy as my little sister fought her way through the game as if it was a breeze.

I debating on putting it there, but the thing I would have put in place of it was Timmy/Vicky from the Fairly Odd Parents and the truth is that I really hate that show and was NEVER a huge fan of it, but for some reason I wrote a bunch of Timmy/Vicky things? I DON'T KNOW. Anyway, SonSal is awesome and I like it a shit ton more than T/V.

Helga/Arnold is tops all other OTPs. It is the eternal seme of pairings.

That's because you can't hit them when they first appear on Destiny Islands! You first have to run to the island and find Riku so you can get your keyblade and THEN you can fight them. Also, it's best to level up fighting Selphie/Wakka/Tidus first.

Also, I have played KH1 far too many times for it to be healthy and basically know EVERYTHING about it. All the secret places and hidden treasure chests and junk like that.

I remember being obsessed with Fairly Odd Parents a while back...I'd NEVER miss an episode. Sometimes I'd feel a little bit bad for Timmy because his love interests were so...crazy (I admit...I did like Tootie...a little. Only because she went out of her way to help him in the movie "Channel Chasers"). So...huh...I gotta wonder how Timmy/Vicky would work if (as it's been shown on the show) Timmy/Trixie and Timmy/Tootie couldn't.

Lulz...I don't remember what I did to mess up epicly. It's likely that I freaked and didn't pay attention (or read the instructions hurrr), causing poor Sora to get slaughtered. ): But I'll keep that in mind should I ever play Kingdom Hearts again.

I was Timmy/Vicky, mostly because I Timmy/Trixie and Timmy/Tootie were both not very interesting. But I think a lot of it was that there were very little endearing qualities about the characters, which I think is a problem that Butch Hartman has.
