7. Sally/Sonic (sonic the hedgehog SatAM) - I love that they’re BEST FRIENDS, despite the fact that Sally is a princess and he seems to be something of a troublemaker. She calls him out when he does something bullheaded, which is often. He believes in her more than anyone else and wants to keep her safe. She awards him kisses and hugs when he does something very heroic and he wraps his arms around her and races across the universe as he holds her. They have lives outside one another, but at the end of the day there is this underlying need to their friendship/relationship.

6. Toph/Sokka (avatar: the last airbender) - Originally I was Zuko/Toph, but this was back when Toph was still pretty new and Zuko hadn’t yet joined the gang and interacted with her. Sokka/Toph grabbed my heart and ran away with it somewhere in the third season. They’re another pair of Best Friends (which, by the way, is a theme through a lot of these pairings). They back one another up in most fights, they get into mischief together, they tell one another things that they’ve never said to anyone before. Yes, there’s an age gap, but it won’t look so big in time. Also, I love the tragedy that you can bring to it. Yue dies and Suki goes missing and Toph is there and real and Sokka is still afraid. It’s the whole ‘your first love is lost and gone forever but I’m still here and I love you’ thing that I love so damn much.

5. Sasuke/Sakura (naruto) - Okay so the very first time I ever saw Naruto it was the English Dub right about this part in the manga and I fell head over heels for these two. It’s how he wakes up and immediately asks who hurt her and how she stops him from killing everyone by hugging him. And it’s so damn clear that she loves him and knows him well enough to see that something inside of him is going terribly wrong and I have so much damn affection for girls who are passionate about the boys they love and I love characters that seem to be strongest when they’re weak.

4. Riku/Sora/Kairi (kingdom hearts) - Oh gosh, I love this OT3. I love Kingdom Hearts! KH basically has two plots - a long, complicated one involving light and dark and another that is simply the story of three friends trying to find one another so that they can get home. Honestly, this is the only way that makes sense to me. Excluding one of them from the love affair feels wrong. PS THE GAME SHIPS IT TOO I SWEAR - LOOK AT THOSE HANDS! ;_; So OT3 goddamn.

3. Johnny/Ripp/Ophelia (strangetown, here we come) - Haha, sure you saw this one coming. I wasn’t sure about putting it here or not, but I’ve basically drawn more for this OT3 than any other pairing (save maybe Helga/Arnold). And it’s basically that same - they are best friends who have been together for so long and mean so much to one another that the lines have blurred almost completely. They love each other, so why make anyone pick who they love best? I’m head over heels for JRO and they are my most favorite thing about Strangtown, Here We Come.

















2. Squall/Yuffie (kingdom hearts) - My crackiest OTP and part of my own personal KH canon. Hey, there hasn’t been anything that says otherwise, so why the hell not? I love that she’s bouncing and loud and probably annoys him time and again. I love that he’s mostly silent, but is always looking to protect her (he tells her to run when the Heartless attack the Green Room). Also, I adore the fanon - they share the bed in the green room for one reason or another, they fight together most of the time because they’re first partnered together in the Coliseum - it’s all just so damn cute.

1. Helga/Arnold (hey arnold!) - Of course. I think I’ve basically already summed up my love for them before:

“Helga/Arnold is still the best HA! ship. Why?

Because he brings out the best in her. Because she's gonna make him realize that there's more to girls than pretty faces. Because they are both very stupid. Because she loves him and maybe, he loves her too (just a little!). She's the one person he could never walk away from, the one problem that he could never fix. He's the first person to make her feel like she's alive and wanted, he's what makes her a good person.

a/n: It's image heavy, but OMG MY OTP/3s!!!!!!! It was fun to go back and revisit all of my old fandoms and really pick out, which ships have meant the most to me. Also, I took the fanart without permission, but everything is credited and clicking each picture takes you to the owner's DA account. Anything that doesn't have text saying who made it underneath is either a) a screenshot from the actual game/show/etc or b) made by me.

Also, I tried to do pairings from various fandoms. I managed except for the two KH ones, but you could say that Squall/Yuffie is actually a Final Fantasy Crossover...kind of. In any case, I've been influenced by both (Squffie moreso than RiSoKai) and it didn't feel right excluding one or the other. :\

Awww. I always liked Squall/Yuffie, but they weren't in the game enough :( :( :(.

AND OMG the pictures of Helga! She's so scrawny and dorky, and they made her look ~sexy~.

And Riku/Sora/Kairi. Such a OT3...I could never decide which was meant to end up with who, and it's so obvious that the boys both like her at the beginning of the game, and yes.

You always go to such huge efforts :p

I LOVE THIS. I'm SO doing this. I never shipped Helga/Arnold, but I like them together.

Although- Sasuke/Sakura?!?!?!?!?!?! I ALWAYS shipped Naruto/Sakura, then I saw the error of my ways and started shipping Naruto/Hinata, because they're adorable and cute and AHHHHHHH. (They're my OTP for sure, is it THAT obvious?) :P

Toph is awesome, and I'd thought about her with Sokka. (I freaked when it looked like Zuko and Kitara were going to hook up, but I can admit part of it is because I've been crushing on Zuko's voice actor since I was 12. :D)

OMG SONIC X SALLY...not a surprise, but it's great to see that pairing get the love it deserves. :DDDD I'm also not surprised to see that Helga/Arnold tops your list and every ship ever .

But...I am surprised to see that somebody ships Tokka. After the finale, the Tokkaneers depleted hard and FAST. That...was a pity.

I am SO not a gamer girl...when I played Kingdom Hearts, I died within seconds of first encountering the Heartless. And I sat in jealousy as my little sister fought her way through the game as if it was a breeze.
