I have some concept sketches for my Fairytale Fanart entry over at 5_4_3_2. I was just playing around with what Carly/Freddie/Sam's outfits were gonna look like. Plus there's a little Carly/Sam love towards the left.




The brave Knight Carly rescues Princess Sam. Dragon Freddie puts on his seduction face.




The badass Princess Sam rescues Knight Carly.




The trio being trio-ly. You can interpret this as friendship or something more or whatever. I like to imagine Sam is making suggestive comments which is why Freddie is all :\

I realized that I actually sort of like these guys as an OT3 when Sam is at the crux of things. This is most likely due to Sam/Freddie being OTP, Carly/Sam being adorable and Carly/Freddie doing absolutely nothing for me.

I also sort of want to finished this one at some point. Maybe.




Uh, Carly/Sam is awesome? But Carly/Sam means no love for Freddie, except it's cool because Gibby's into him? IDEK.

a/n: I actually finished up my Fairytale Fanart Picture for 5_4_3_2 already, but I'm going to wait for a little bit to post it. I kind of want to see what other people do before I post an entry? IDK. I'm weird.

Ugh, break is over and I am back in classes and it sucks ass. I JUST WANT IT TO BE CHRISTMAS OKAY? I have been listening to X-mas music almost non-stop since yesterday.

I am planning to! But it's been really hard trying to come up with a cute idea. I'm stuck on Gibby!Mermaids and Sam being all 'I KNEW IT'.

Haha, I actually think that idea is ACE. Gibby would be a beautiful mermaid.

I like to imagine they'd try to make him wear a seashell bra, but it is STILL TOO MUCH SHIRT FOR GIBBY and he rips it off and defies the mermaid laws.

Also nothing wrong with scouting the competition. I have to believe you have a good shot at the fairytale title though. I'm a little nervous about the ot3 makeouts but hopefully freddie get's some love. :)

Thanks! I enjoy drawing somewhat suggestive things now and then, but I worry because Jenette and Nathan are real and I'm kind of using their images even if it isn't actually supposed to be THEM but the characters they portray and so I always feel at least a little weird about actually posting things like this? But I really do like it so UP IT GOES.

I'm not even looking to win the contest either. I mostly just wanted to participate, winning was totally irrelevant as I drew it. And I'm excited to see what other people do and I kind of want to wait until there's more people posting since I got done SO EARLY.

You could be having the characters do a lot worse. Honestly you may do some suggestive art but i have not seen one thing you have done that would scream "OMG you are ruining the image of these characters". lol. I don't think that should be a concern at all. :)

Well, if I ever draw something TOO smutty I'd just post it under a filter. I mean, I almost definitely won't since I feel kind of uncomfortable with the idea of it in the first place, but I do have a system set up so that I wouldn't scar casual viewers of my LJ.

I'm really proud of it. It's been awhile since I spent as much time on a pic as I did on the FF one today.

I also sort of ship Carly/Gibby. She is sweet to him! And she sticks up for him. If Gibby's actor didn't look so young in comparison to Miranda I'd be all about it probably. XD

I like that one too. Princess saving the Knight when both the Princess and the Knight are ladies. I am fond of the idea. <333

Princess Sam and Knight Carly OMFG SQUEE. I love this SO MUCH. Knight Carly rescuing Princess Sam makes me so frakking happy I can hardly contain myself. I do love the idea of Carly being Sam's protector just as much as Sam is Carly's. Badass Princess Sam rescuing Knight Carly? WINWINWIN.

I also love the scenes where Carly takes on the 'protector' role. Like, Sam physically protects Carly, but Carly tends to protect Sam emotionally? That's why I'm kind of bummed that Carly's the one that almost falls off the scaffold in iQuit iCarly, because I wanted to see Sam be the one in danger and have Carly's LOOOOOVE let her keep ahold of Sam. Or something. XD

Aww, thanks! I like the Princess Sam saving Knight Carly one, because it's two reversals in one picture. The princess saves the knight and both the princess and the knight are ladies.

Being an "artistically challenged" individual myself, I really love to see the concept sketches and doodles. It's just cool to see how the drawing develops. Looks like a lot of work, though.

Haha, I do have a smut filter! I've only used it once and definitely not for iCarly stuff, but I am sometimes inappropriate! It's true!

I am afraid to take iCarly stuff much further than this because OMG THE ACTORS COULD SEE OMG. Like, I would probably have a heart attack if I was drawing up some SUPER SMUT of Sam/Freddie and Jennette and Nathan saw it somehow. Like... OMG HOW MORTIFYING.

It's not usually that much work. Most of the time when developing a concept I have an actual interest in what I'm going to do with the concepts so it's all fun.
