Haha, okay so another doodle for the unwritten iCarly epic wherein Sam ends up being unable to be the protector and is full of the trio being cute with an awesome Sam/Freddie slant cleverly named "iCave" by poisonivory. Possibly this storyline should have a plot! However, instead of making one I'm just going to end up doing random scenes and doodles that come into my head!

Anyway, the trio is running away from DANGER. Obvs, this is before Sam is put out of commission since she's running ahead of the pack and has something of a grip on Freddie's arm.




soopagrrl wanted Carly and Sam sharing a smoothie. Huzzah! Definitely not my best attempt at these two, but cute enough. :3




kathiaa asked for Sam/Freddie in the rain. It shouldn't really come as a surprise that I was totally up for drawing this one. I love rainy-ness and night time and CONFESSIONS. All I could think as I was drawing it is Freddie saying something about choosing Sam, knowing Sam is the one that he really loves. Possibly it is prom and he went with Carly and realized by the end of things that he is the biggest stupidhead in the whole world, because SAM is the one that he's fallen for somehow.




fragmentsofkat wanted a Sam/Freddie slow dance, but the thing is that my Nick OTPs do not slow dance. THEY TANGO (as demonstrated by Arnold and Helga in my icon). Carly/Freddie can have their adorable slow dance at the end of iSpeed Date! Slow dances are cute, but tangos are HOT. So um, there should be a Seddie tango at some point in the series. YES.

Also, while I love that most of the time it's clear that Sam dominates their relationship with one another, I like the idea that Freddie will eventually get himself onto even ground by kind of breaking into her personal bubble? Or like... in iKiss Freddie seems to just... know what he's doing a little more than Sam? So I see him being a little better at the romancing while Sam is all awkwardness. And a Freddie actively seeking attention from her, whereas he normally tries to avoid her focus, would probably be a little disconcerting to her.

It doesn't have THAT much to do with the prompt, but it's what came about after having read the lyrics? So yes.

Um, so things are looking NOT GOOD and Freddie's like: "What do we do now, Carly?" and Carly doesn't know. And she's panicking because her best friend is sick (I've decided that Sam ate some green berries <- Hey Arnold! reference FUCK YEAH....) and they're hopelessly lost and because she's really just a kid.




a/n: Give me more prompts! I'm on a roll and I'd like to keep it going as long as I can. I'm most likely to draw Sam/Freddie stuff, trio-ness or maybe a little Carly/Sam. Carly/Freddie doesn't really do anything for me and I have little interest in trying to draw the other characters. Spencer's awesome, but the idea of trying to draw Jerry Trainor is just... He's too much! I can kind of simplify the kids, but Jerry Trainor's essence is too BIG and over the top for me to handle.

Haha, an actual iCave would be awesome. I do not know what it would actually be about! I just know that there are things in it that I would really enjoy! Such as Sam becoming the weak link and Carly faltering and Freddie sort of keeping his girls afloat. YES.

It's a good thing you like art posts, since I do quite a bit of them. This journal was originally meant to be exclusively fiction/art, but I've kind of turned it into something of a personal journal as well? Oh well, it's cool.

I'm actually super excited for iQuit iCarly. I love Carly and Sam's friendship and I'm excited to see an episode focusing on it directly and possibly dealing with some of the issues the girls may have with one another.

But yes, iCave ought to be an episode. IT WOULD TAKE EVERYONE OUT OF THEIR ELEMENT! The whole point would be to see how the trio manages when things go wrong. Sam is weakened! Freddie has no technology to help him! Carly realizes possibly for the first time in her life that everything is fragile and that she can't always handle things on her own.

Oh, I like that song! It's mellow and bouncy all at once. And DANCE PARTY is an EXCELLENT PROMPT!!!!!!

I would kill for a Seddie tango. I think it's unlikely since they already did iDream of Dance, but there's is always room for SEXY TANGOS.

Mmmm, maybe? IDK. I have dreadful little interest in drawing stuff from fics (and very little interest in reading iCarly fic in general unless it's recced by someone who I know has good taste).

I think the only time I've drawn a scene from a fic just for fun was this picture (http://SquirrelTamer.deviantart.com/art/HA-Finale-78543777) from poisonivory's story Missing Pieces (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/634848/1/Missing_Pieces), which has been a favorite of mine since I was wee.

This is why I love rainy pictures so much. You just KNOW something big is about to go down between the characters when it's raining.

If I had his number I would... probably not call him, but if anyone wants to tell him the GLORY AND AWESOME of a Sam/Freddie tango and demand he put one in the show... I would definitely not object.

Wow, the art on this post is great. <3 My favorites are the Seddie tango (this fits them so much better than a slow dance), the Trio BFFness, and the iCave stuff. I have to agree with everyone else and say that I would SO watch iCave too. Character-Out-Of-Their-Element episodes are the best episodes.

As for more prompts, idk, I think the theme song to the cartoon Phineas and Ferb works for iCarly too. It's all about doing crazy things and having fun while doing them.

A tango really would suit Sam/Freddie best. So far he's slow danced with both Carly and Melanie, so if he dances with Sam it ought to be something a little more... POW. Obviously, I am in agreement that taking characters out of their element makes for good TV.

Haha, I don't have the time to watch that clip ATM (I'm about to head out the door to go on a day trip with the art department), but I shall come back to it. I don't really watch Phineas and Ferb, but I think it's a cute show with a premise I would have LOOOVED as a kid.

Hey Arnold! Yesssss. What a wonderful, bizarre show. I'm pretty sure Dan wrote iThink They Kissed after watching the Hey Arnold! episode in which Helga confesses her love while on laughing gas at the dentist.

You're happy to do requests? Well alright...I've always had in my mind this image of Sam and Freddie on the roof of the school's auditorium at night, just sitting on the edge and chilling, while everyone is inside at a dance or something. I dunno...take it or leave it, I just like any fan art you churn out.

Hee, I have a list in my head of all the weird similarities between the shows that I will one day actually write down, but YES. I feel like Dan must have pulled SOME inspiration from HA! or something, because there are a lot of weird similarities between iCarly and HA! and that iThink They Kissed is just one of them.

Well, I'm happy to TAKE requests. I just don't always do all of them. Especially with drawings like these where I just doodle 'em quick and for fun. I don't want to get bent out of shape about drawing everything correctly or whatever, I just want to get out random ideas.

dgdfgdhfdgdfggsd;gdmg. Ahem. Sorry about that. I haven't been online in a while and now I see THIS and totally have a spaz attack. I LOVE THE SAM/FREDDIE TANGO! Oh so much. THANK YOU! This is way better than a slow dance, actually. I mean, if they get together, they probably won't be a lovey-dovey, slow dancing kind of couple anyway, I think it will be more of a fight-and-make-up, hate to love you type of deal. And the tango fits their characters perfectly; it's a passionate, "fiery" dance. Just like them, haha!

And Sam/Freddie are definitely Arnold/Helga reincarnated. Sam is pretty much Helga minus the unibrow. The abrasiveness, the insecurities hidden behind a bully persona, the dysfunctional family... there are so many similarities.

Whoever came up with the "iCave" idea needs to write the fic - pronto. It's a plausible scenario, with Sam getting sick because she ate some weird berries. That girls eats anything. And Freddie saving the day with his super nerd powers! Maybe he could go all McGuyver and build a GPS out of sticks and bubblegum or something. :D Anyway, it would be kind of cool to see how their characters react, and interact, when taken out of their normal environment and faced with a challenging or even life-threatening situation.

YES. Although, Sam doesn't have a 'Blowhard Dad' she does have the 'Lame Mom' and 'Perfect Sister'. She is so very much like Helga, although I actually think if Sam is the Helga then Carly is the Arnold. And Freddie is perhaps Gerald, except decidedly less cool? Which, y'know, that's fine with me because Gerald/Helga is pretty hot.

I am kind of writing iCave? Sort of. IDK. And Sam will have eaten the GREEN berries instead of the RED ones so that I can have a throwback to a camping episode of Hey Arnold!'s "Red and Sweet and Good to eat" speech. ALSO, it will allow me to tie in Carly and Freddie's Root and Berry field trip adventures. I AM COMBINING CANONS AND IT IS AWESOME.
