If I want to make up an original, vaguely self-inserty character and stick her in narratives that I love - wherein said made-uppy character sort of ends up in a romantic entanglement with one of the dreamy leads - then there is absolutely nothing you can do about it!
(But I still feel shame!)

Arnold and Helga. I kind of liked it, but not enough to try and finish it.
She's so lovely.
Darkverse timeline. There's something off about both of their faces. :\
I also plot bits and pieces of that story from time to time, because I think it's an interesting universe. I have just made the development that Helga won't be able to touch Arnold, because it'll probably kill her! This obviously will not sit well with Helga, but that's what happens when you're turned into a half-monster! :(

There's something really weird about Harold's face. It looks familiar, but not at all Harold-like. Or something.

Collab with Bloochikin who is AMAZING and draws SO GOOD and is a very nice person too. We're planning to draw more together next weekend. :D
Facebook graffiti is awesome. I'm not near as fond of Twitter graffiti, because EVERYBODY CAN SEE. And ADD TO IT. And pester you to do more! NO.

Soda probably having to ask Hector for help and being embarrassed, because she is totally falling for Hector or something.
My BFF is coming to visit! And we're going to the zoo! And in this picture she is telling me TERRIBLE fun facts about some animal (because that is what she does) and I am DISGUSTED.
Reese, Miles and Pear. Characters from Shenanigans! who I don't draw as much as I should. The girls are twins and Miles is their younger half-brother. Reese is nice, but not very deep or interesting. Miles is quiet and nervous a lot. Pear hates everything and is totally power hungry.
Not a lot of people are able to get an upper hand over Pear. Newt does. Kind of. Not really. Negas tries.
The only one who's really successful in taking Pear down a notch is Rhiannon, who is just so quick and unpredictable and kind of crazy that Pear doesn't really stand a chance. Rhiannon takes on Pear, partly because Pear harasses Miles a lot (and Rhiannon adores Miles) and partly because she just doesn't really like Pear.
Um. Their are 4 "books" in the Shenanigans! timeline. At the end of the 4th one, Pear ends up becoming the new Devil. It makes sense in the story... kind of. She also becomes young again.
Eyes and junk. No reason. Just for fun.

We were checking out the hippos, and she turned to me and asked if I'd ever seen a hippo poop. I informed her I had not. She told me to duck down, and I witnessed the horrid event. Our expressions were almost exact to that picture. XD
God, I love your Helga. She really does seem like the person that would grow up to be very beautiful, and you always catch that in her.

I've always imagined Helga to be awkward all throughout elementary and middle school and then at some point in high school - BAM. She'd suddenly be absolutely gorgeous and everyone would wonder why they didn't see it before.

She was a hero of the worlds, which basically meant that her job was to travel to different worlds/dimensions/times and help save the day. So I made a character who's main reason for existing was so that she could insert herself into various storylines and befriend the protagonists and generally have pseudo-romances with one of the characters that always ended up in sad places, because she couldn't stay on that world forever. SHE HAD TO KEEP FIGHTING.
