I-I can explain! Kind of. Maybe.

Okay, so I've basically been listening to/watching Zefron's Scream! all day. Because I'm insane. Also because I'm a total HSM dweeb - they are nonsensical! And have many colors! And RYAN'S ROCKETTES! AND LOTS OF INAPPROPRIATE THRUSTING! Seriously, these movies are golden. And I have such a dorky crush on Zeffers - I'm absolutely IN LOVE with his arms (i-i have a hand/arm kink LEAVE ME ALONE) and his HIPS! And he has the most adorably distinctive walk (which you can see HERE! - just look at him defy physics and gravity with every step he takes!)

And then I was like: NEED TO DRAW SCREAM! JOHNNY BECAUSE OMG HE IS MY FAVORITE BOY CHARACTER EVER AND THIS SONG REMINDS ME OF HIM BECAUSE I AM A NUT JOB. It's just the whole... search for himself? And his future? And how he's all lost and stuff.... And like, the lyrics to this song are totally juvenile, but I don't even care. The vid I linked to has the worst quality, but I can still make out the best parts! When Zef pounds on the lockers and then throws himself against them in time to the beat? A-and near the end when he pulls off all those stripper moves with the ropes? Those moments just go right through me. GOOD GOD SO HOT.




a/n: So I drew Johnny emo and screaming and then just some more random anatomy things, because Zef makes me wanna draw boys and that like NEVER HAPPENS.

also i can't be the only one with a crush on johnny, right? reluctant heroes ftw!

EDIT: Also right around 0:32 in A Night to Remember Zef does this thing with his hips and flicks his head to the side all dramatic and lady-like and just - OMG BOY WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?

Though I've determine that I can get D on it and still get an A- in the class so I don't know why I'm worrying except that I think that I may have only come to the calculation because my brain is addled :\

I miss it too! But I'm still not ready for another rewatch. I AM ready for a Hey Arnold! marathon which is GOING TO HAPPEN I SWEAR TO GOD. Or a Firefly one! I still really have no interest in Lost at all though.

It's cool BB, I love your loopy comments. And I'm so sick of school.

I just want to watch Zef all day. I'm totally addicted to this vid. Like, today we had a break in printmaking for ten minutes and I was like: "QUICK NATALIE WE MUST GO NEXT DOOR AND WATCH ZEFFERS PELVIC THRUST ONCE MORE FOR I AM AN ADDICT." and she was like "LOL I AM INDULGING YOU EVEN THOUGH I DON'T KNOW WHY". So I watched Zef shake his hips and then went back to Printmaking and presented my Hey Arnold prints and danced a lot.

It was fun. It was basically just me rambling about my favorite things and getting to look at other people's art the whole class period and I LOOOOOOVE doing that. I also like when critiques aren't so serious. Like, I hate that we have to sound intelligent when we Crit stuff. I'm mostly like: "that part right there is gorgeous and those teensy lines are just wooooow!"

i hate talking about composition and 'arty' stuff. Bleh.

hee. My prof last year used to put up with that kind of nonsense as long as we didn't say we "liked" something because the phrase "I like..." sent him into fits of passive-aggressive rage but everyone said it during every critique anyway.

Or they would be like "I li-...I mean um...I ENJOY..."

Lol! I do it all the time and I DON'T WANT TO CHANGE. If I'm gonna be an artist, then I want to do it MY way. Which is like... by being silly and not taking it seriously or go to my head. If I think something is done then it is DONE and I'm not going to change it. I'm stubborn about art sometimes. Like, I'll take crits, but that doesn't mean I'm going to do anything about it except store the information away for next time. I did the same thing with C-dubs. I don't rewrite stories. And I don't double-check my answers on tests.

Yeah, I always want to take people who are way to pretentious about their art and just SHAKE THEM. They are annoying :\

I rewrote stories a lot in C-dubs but usually not because other people told me to...usually it was because I read it out loud at peer review and was like "heh, um, so this doesn't flow and I can't read it without stuttering..." I am hit-or-miss with double-checking my answers. I'm not sure how often it really helps though, since usually my first answer is right when I do change them and then I'm angry.
