Character(s): Buck




All right, I'm still moving with this picture. Jill's lineart is finished, Phi just needs her hair did up, Ripp needs his face fixed and a few minor details to his outfit, Johnny's arms need to be switched up and I need to make some decisions about Buck. After that I gotta sit down and come up with a decent (or a couple decent) poses for Tank and draw Frances out too.

Then at some point I'll have to start coloring.

So uhh.... that's actually a lot. :\

Anyway - here's what I need help with next:

WHAT SORT OF WEAPON SHOULD I GIVE TO BUCK?

It can't be - money, fists, grenades, a shovel, guns or a bazooka. I'd also sort of like it to fit Buck's personality.

So far I've gone with - a Bo Staff (a la Donatello from the ninja turtles), a flag (either white for peace or with some sort of representation of the sensational seven), or possibly no weapon at all (Buck isn't much of a fighter and Jill's badass enough for the both of them.

Any suggestions? Thoughts?

Something really not meant for fighting. Like... A FRYING PAN! Lol, I can see him in a little apron and rubber gloves being a total housewife. Sorry Buck, but Jill definitely wears the pants in that relationship. :P

Ooh, a paintbrush is also good! But something domestic like a frying pan or rolling pin (that still does damage) would be awesome. Because a paintbrush is sooo NOT a weopon. :P

Yeah, I agree. He needs a weapon that isn't really a weapon. And don't worry, Jill is definitely stepping up as the protector in the relationship - her weapon is pretty hardcore.

I don't know, but surely it isn't Frances J.

WELL HE HAS TO FIGHT EVEN IF HE DOESN'T LIKE IT.

Don't worry, I doubt he'll be too much actual fighting. Jill will be able to cover him pretty well.

Not bad, but I'd rather stick with something more blunt. Also gardening shears remind me of when Buzz died and I feel that would be sad.

Shovel = Ophelia (because of flowers),
bazooka = Ripp (PENIS!),
grenades = Johnny (I'm not sure why),
guns = Tank,
money = Frances and
fists = Jill?

Like Strange said - you got one! Frances does get the money!

Not all of them fit perfectly to their character. Johnny's weapon is a little 'WTF?' and Phi and Ripp are pretty much badasses. Jill's is also hardcore and Tank's isn't all too surprising.

He's even cuter when you see him in full. But I am being stingy with showing too much of the WIP.
