a/n: I never asked permission to use the HA! fanart as icons, so uhhh. Take at your own risk? And if you get bitched at for it or something, direct their anger towards me. Everything's credited though, so hopefully it'll be cool. *worries*
I just REALLY wanted to make RPG World icons. It really is an excellent webcomic and I think the dude who did it had a real natural knack for comic making.
Also, I watched the new iCarly tonight and am pretty bummed at that ending. I dunno. Like, for some odd reason I had hope for iCarly to... grow into something more? But it's never going to be more than just a comedy show and the serious moments are always going to be made light of and there's going to be endings where nothing is resolved and that's not really my thing? I mean, I don't hate open endings, but the Sam/Freddie kiss is important and relevant to Carly, Sam and Freddie's friendship and they basically just left it hanging. This is just REALLY unsatisfying to me and feels like a let down of sorts.
IDK. I think it's that I really wanted iCarly to be the next HA! (THEY USED THE SAME GODDAMN IDEA FROM HA! IN THIS EPISODE ANWAY), but it doesn't have the heart that HA! does and it never will. :\

But YES. Thank you so much for voicing all my opinions on iThink They Kissed. They built it up so much, and then what? They devoted, what, 22 minutes of the episode to the reveal...and two minutes to the actual discussion of the kiss; maybe not even that. Seriously, the episode basically left its audience with more questions. Oy vey. @____@
I'm assuming the subject of the kiss will come up again at some point in the future, but yeah, that episode was deeply unsatisfying.
I suppose you're right, though -- the show is meant to be mostly lighthearted and funny (plus, it's not supposed to have any overarching plotlines, the creator said -- each episode is supposed to be pretty self-contained.) Any real development we get with relationships probably won't be happening until the end of the show, probably in some big grand finale movie or something. Which is cool, I suppose, but still. :(
Anyway, LOL GIANT COMMENT. Sorry! I HAVE NO ONE ELSE TO SHARE MY ICARLY THOUGHTS WITH. XD;;;;

The thing I find with a lot of iCarly episodes is that everything always seems rushed. Like they don't manage their time well. Which, when compared to a show like HA!, that almost always felt complete and well done in HALF the time of an iCarly episode, is REALLY disappointing.
Oh, I'm sure the kiss will be brought up again, but it will be from a POV where they already discussed it to death probably. But WE don't get to see that discussion or conclusion, so even though the characters may get off screen closure to it, the audience doesn't and that is incredibly annoying to me.
iCarly is fairly self-contained, but there is growth and there is continuity. There were callbacks to three previous episodes in this one. It's not a stagnant show.
I wouldn't even mind little development on the Sam/Freddie front! I'd be totally cool if they put it in a tv movie or just kept it as subtext the whole time. Seriously, that's okay with me. But right now it seems like the kids are at this crossroads in their friendship and we're never going to see them work through it and it is SO ANNOYING. Maybe the characters DO resolve it, but to me they left it at a place where there's always going to be this huge thing hanging between them. And that's no good.
Don't worry! I have also replied with a GIANT COMMENT.

I didn't really want to, but I happened to catch it while babysitting and am loving the Sam/Freddie. Even though I've only seen like three or four episodes. I guess there's something to the mean little blonde girl that I just adore. And I have always loved love/hate relationships. I haven't seen the one where they kiss though!

And YES to Sam/Freddie and adoring Sam and angry blonde girls kicking ass and loving boys.
The Kiss episode is rad, definitely one of my faves. However, the follow up to it (which premiered last night) was really disappointing.
