a/n: So uhh, sometimes I do actually draw stuff that isn't S,HWC art. And this is Nor! She is adorable and is part of this super epic storyline that I'm kind of doing a comic of, except that I'm LAZY and the process is LONG and I have a tendency to get distracted. But it's about three not-friends kind of thrust together and forced to save the world or something.

Nor's my very obvious favorite character despite the fact that Calvin is the one that continuously breaks my heart. I love her because she basically chose her own personality. I'm serious. I was like: "All right Nor, you are going to be the spunky heroine who punches assholes in the face and hides her feelings, okay?". And she was like: "Um...I don't think that's me... at all. Could I maybe be a pacifist who loves deeply and wears her emotions on her sleeve?" And so that's who she is. Kind of. I mean there's more to her, but those are some basic points of her personality.

Anyway, I love her and this drawing was just for fun. I wanted to try coloring the lineart and I gave Nor a haircut. She is so cute. :3

YUSSS PRETTY TERNION ARTZ

I do think Nor is ador(k)able. This is partly because of her hair, and partly it's because of the fact that she doesn't look like a typical cartoon heroine with a supposed "perfect figure" - as in, I'm glad there's no torpedo breasts, narrow waist, and stick-thin legs to be found. Oh, originality, I finally found you~

I think it's neat that you stick to your characters and have the patience to flesh them out - I've only created one character that I'm still faithfully developing (and that would be Chi - also known as "The Turtle-Girl"), and I often just create on a whim, without applying any thought and consideration to creating a character. :p

I have to confess, however...I think Calvin is my favorite character. This doesn't come as much of a surprise to me, as I've always liked the typical mischievious and hilarious jerk of any medium. Obviously, though, Calvin is going to be more than that - and I can't wait to see him get development. :DD

Heehee, from the very beginning I was all about making Nor not super skinny. I wanted to make her kind of pudgy and give her a big booty. That's basically what I keep in mind when I draw her: "Is her ass big enough or do I need to add more?". I'm such a sucker for playing around with body types and when I create characters my favorites tend to be the ones that are the most curvy.

I am DETERMINED to get this story out there even if it takes me a BILLION years to get it all out. I'm so bad at keeping schedules, but whatever. I figure, even if the going is slow I'll just keep picking at it, bit by bit and eventually it'll actually get somewhere! And I'm mostly doing the comic for my own satisfaction. I love these characters!

The downside is that so many of the best parts are forever and a day away.

Haha, I do love Calvin. The best part about him is that he was the last of the main three that I made. Originally it was just supposed to be Nor and Taran and then Calvin basically threw himself between them and is now the center character. And I love that he's being raised by Tyce (who I have a bit of a crush on, despite having created him) and that he's smart, but doesn't apply himself and has the worst luck EVER. So yeah, Cal's awesome.

Lol, well she's got that cutesy thing going for her. But if I I drew 'em up side-by-side the differences would be ridiculously obvious. Nor's small and pudgy and has these awful buck teeth and loads of other stuff.

I actually have a Phi vs. Jill comparison picture somewhere around here. Just to reference their differences for myself. I'll have to try and dig it up sometime.
