Character(s): Ripp, Johnny, Ophelia, Jill, Buck













a/n: I got an icon post brewing in the near future. For now though I've got MOAR STRANGETOWN.

The first is just a bunch of our leads. Ripp - shirtless and sleazy. A happy Johnny. And an Ophelia who doesn't really look like Ophelia. Then Jill with GREEN hair at the bottom, drawn in green, because it's JILL. Then a college Buck.

The second page has got Johnny holding Ripp. Then Phi in a pretty princess dress. Then a purple Johnny with shorter and somewhat tamed hair. The bottom left is more sleazy Ripp and the bottom right is my very favorite. The trio snuggled together, with Johnny tell Jayne to shove off. Clearly, I have no love for Miss Doe.

These are all so cute. I was going to start typing out which ones I really liked, but them I realized that it would have been a list of pretty much all of them. ^_^

You made me giggle at the lack of love for Jayne, the poor thing. I don't mean to vilify her, but her role in Johnny's difficulties makes that unavoidable, I guess. I hope she's not too one-dimensional as a character.

I love seeing so much Strangetown stuff from you lately. I get excited every time I see that you've posted something, and I really need that right now, since I'm in a bit of a funk.

If you don't mind, I was thinking of linking to your recent drawing of Johnny, Ripp, and Ophelia from my page. I think there are others that would likely enjoy it.

Awww! You're too nice!

She isn't one-dimensional at all! Which is why it makes it kind of difficult to hate her sometimes, because I GET why she's meddling. But my love for the trio overrides my love for many other characters. So when I see her actively trying to break them up... I want to punch her and tell her to leave things alone. Also because I think Johnny's my fave and so I can't help when people keep trying to guilt trip him.

I'm glad I can be of some use. That chapter was just... too epic for me to ignore. I'm so excited to see where things go from here, because it's pretty up in the air still. I want to see how the trio reacts to their more-than-three-friends state they've got going on. So if my drawings and story things help get you out of funks, then I better keep going!

Oh! And before I post any icons (i'm not the greatest icon maker, but it's fun to fiddle around and make some from time to time) I was wondering if you'd mind me using either 2 or 3 of your pics in them. The one is the final shot of the trio in bed together (I greyed out the flowers and scenery around them and upped some of the contrast and brightness) aaaaannndd the other one is Ripp outside Phi's door (I fiddled with lighting stuff, because it was really dark when scaled down so small). The other was Johnny right by Ripp's face in the bathroom, but I haven't done anything with that one yet.

Since they're pictures that you took, I wanted to make sure it was all right. If not I'll just throw you some links via a note (so you can see 'em) and just not post them.

Okay, well that's good to know. I guess I wonder about Jayne a bit more, since she's more of an original character, and might be more susceptible to storytelling flaws. I try to stay very objective about those original sims, and with jayne it's not too hard, since she's not one of my favourite characters either.

Aww, Johnny's your fave? I've heard a couple of other people say he's growing on them too. It's probably because he's been growing on me over the course of the story.

I have a lot of thinking to do about the details of their next steps, so I'm doing a lot of thinking about it. I'm getting my motivation back now, and your drawings are always very inspiring.

Okay, great. I'll probably post a link to it later. I can think of one or two people (at least) that would really like it.

Go right ahead and use anything you want for icons, and make any changes you want to them too. I have no problem with that at all. I really want to see them now! :D

I think the fact that I can really dislike Jayne while still sympathizing with her on some level shows that you've done a good job with her. Also I'm glad that she isn't really one of your favorites, because I always worry about being harsh on her sometimes. I thought you might be a little offended!

It really used to be Tank and Phi who had my heart. But Johnny... This chapter pretty much bumped him up to the top. Because he followed his heart even though he's normally a very logical person. I have a soft spot for characters who listen to their hearts.

Take your time! I'm glad my drawings can help.
