I finally threw some colors on this pic. I'm no longer all that happy with it, but WHATEVER. Bruno/Duplica is still cute and fucked up at the same time.




Girls! IDK what this style is. It's messy as heck, but I think it's sort of endearing and I like all of the solid black. Also, one day I will draw these girls PERFECTLY. Today is not that day, but I'm getting there. :(




YUFFIE. I really want to do another Squall/Yuffie pic, but I cannot draw Squall to save my life. It is my greatest tragedy.




Collab between me and poisonivory, of course! She loves these guys and I think they are HELLA fun to draw (and have always had secret soft places for superheroes even if I am not all that well versed in any of the respective canons). My favorite part is how it's nothing but Primary colors. SO BRIGHT!




a/n: So today was pretty rad. I had a good day of classes and came home to chicken for dinner and watched an hour of Good Eats and made the connection that putting turkey on top of waffles is probably a PA Dutch thing and basically real life stuff is pretty cool right now. I'm kind of sort of homesick (but then again I always am) and apparently dealing with it by not calling home very much, which is not that good of an idea, because I really love my family and talking to them and stuff and so... yeah. I should do that.

Haha, sorry for that random tangent there. ANYWAY! Adding to my list of THINGS THAT ARE REALLY COOL about today is:

1) samatethecookie found HONEST TO GOD straight up Barret/Tifa fic in the form of a 1sentence entry that can be found here. It's a pretty good collection of sentences too - entries in that comm are basically hit or miss and these were pretty good, though the writer seems to be oddly focused on Barret's thoughts on Cosmo Canyon, which seemed incredibly random at times? IDK.

2) poisonivory wrote CURLY/EUGENE FIC that is awesome and SO THEM and YOU SHOULD JUST READ IT OKAY? My favorite part is all of it how Curly remembers Angel and Eugene thought that probably only Arnold would (because he's Arnold!) because it's sweet as hell and because Curly WOULD remember (it's such a seemingly useless thing to know - so OF COURSE Curly would remember it always). Also, someone needs to write me a story about how Eugene's first crush was Arnold, because I'm convinced that this is almost!canon.

3) I have started writing Trying again. I'm kind of floundering through this Wolfgang chapter, but at least I'm getting SOMEWHERE and not just sitting on the story like I have been for months.

YAY US. I think I need to make a post of all the Kara/Bart art in the world like you have for Harold/Rhonda and Eugene/Curly, because aosfhdohgeoa I love it so much.

YOU SHOULD! It's... satisfying and heartbreaking at the same time, because once you get it all you NEED MORE and there isn't any. ;_; On the other hand, I think it lets people see how awesome your ship is and maybe will spur them to ADD TO THE COLLECTION. Also, I like going through and looking at the awesome Eugene/Curly and Harold/Rhonda art on days that I am sad.

Eugene falling head over heels for Arnold in Fourth Grade is just... I believe in this theory so hard. I also think he's pretty much over it by the end of the year, because I'm pretty sure he figures out that Arnold's in love with Helga and vice versa. But he makes a reference to liking Arnold years later over coffee and Arnold's like: "WHAT?" and Eugene's like: "You really were the most oblivious kid in PS 118, weren't you?"

Well, I was never really feeling bad? Yesterday was just a particularly awesome day.

I am not sure why they won't load! This breaks my heart. :(

I'm about 1700 words into the next chapter, but I feel like it isn't really going anywhere or something. Wolfgang and Helga fight too much.

I generally have a tendency to pick up a fandom and drop it kind of quickly and then maybe come back to it a month down the line. I'm weird and flighty when it comes to things I like a lot.
