a/n: For me, one of the saddest things in Shenanigans is that Miles never really gets to spend time with his dad. When Jay dies, Miles hasn't even been born. In fact, Jay never finds out that he's going to have another son (he knows about the first, but is neglectful though he was actually just beginning to change that). And then Tai is just... not a very good substitute. So I drew a cutesy sketch of Miles and Jay, because I'm sad that they lost all that time. Oh and I also drew a ghost!Jay watching Miles try and fail to build towers and being unable to help and SAAAAAAD.

Haha, I've actually had this thing inked and flat-colored for awhile. I kept forgetting to shade it and then just be done with it though. But last night I was reading Strange's interview and she mentioned face grabbing and how she loved it and so I thought: "hell, i ought to just fix it up some." And so I did!

Sweet. I love that drawing. I like how Johnny seems a little overwhelmed or reluctant about having his face seized like that, but then he's also just come to accept that Ripp tends to paw him over on a regular basis. Johnny also hasn't let go of the hug yet, so he's being just as affectionate. If it was an emotional reunion, which seems to be what you're going for, I could definitely see them both reacting this way.

It's funny... writing the interview, and now seeing this, has made me want to draw them again too. I think I might actually do it this time. I just sketched out a really rough outline of a drawing with Johnny and Ripp on the couch, watching TV. I love that crappy old couch they have. :P I'm going to work on the drawing later and see if it works out.

I love your Shenanigans! drawing too. It's so sad and touching.

It's a little old now, so some of parts bug me, but it's still okay. I love the idea of face grabbing and lots more desperate interactions like that. You also mentioned shoulder shaking which I agree with! I'd also like hugs from behind and some way to look like one sim is clinging to the front of another.

Yes! Oh, I'm so excited to see what you do with them! I love your SO's takes on them and then there's mine, but it'll be fun to see YOUR interpretations of them. Haha, your trio is so spoiled.
