Haha, I could see Frances being Dina's first crush. He's rich and for some reason I imagine them being about the same age (I think Dina skipped college). And he's sweet too. Dina would have been so smitten with him and he'd be totally oblivious.

This is so adorable. I love Dina's perfect outfit (are the shoes made from real gold leaf?) and Frances's bumpy nose. He seems so pleased with himself too, and what a pretty bandaid he has!

Oh, and the background isn't sucky. It looks like the playground behind the primary school down the road from here. It's next to a cliff that drops off into the ocean, so all you see is grass and sky. It works for me. ;)
