Fanart/Meme - Hey Arnold! - Rhonda/Patty and a Drabble Meme

ART/MEME

Fandom/Universe: Hey Arnold!
Character(s): Rhonda, Patty

rhondapatty

I was bored yesterday and watched Grudge Match/Polishing Rhonda (Hey Arnold!) and Rhonda/Patty is still so very adorable.

Every person who wants to gets to request a drabble (real drabble: 100 words) from me. In return, you have to post this in your journal and write a drabble for me.

Post all fandoms you're willing to write for. Your friends can pick a relationship, a story arc, a missing scene, or pretty much anything they want, unless the author has previously mentioned that they will not write it. They comment with what they want, and you write drabbles and post it in your LiveJournal.

(i'm nice and don't make things mandatory. :3 )

Fandoms:

Hey Arnold!
Kingdom Hearts (don't like the organization much tho)
Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM
Avatar: the Last Airbender
The Sims 2 (may or may not end up canon compliant to SHWC)

Plus any of my original stories is fair game, I suppose. And no requesting real smut, because I am no good at that.

a/n: So I'm killing time until tomorrow when I get to go HOME (<3333)! I still have some stuff that I ought to be packing away, but that's all I've done ALLLL DAY, so I'd rather not.

Anyway, I'm doing this to kill time and maybe flex my writing muscles a bit (I used to write ALL THE TIME, WHAT HAPPENED?).

Lastly, I named 96 out of 151 pokemon on my very first try!

A Pleasantview...thing!

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2008-12-15 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Darren Dreamer spends his days painting black on brown and trying not to think about anything at all. He sighs softly with each downward stroke of the brush and she has never seen anything so beautiful in all her life. She imagines what it would feel like to have one of those soft, painter’s hands trail down her spine. She flushes at the thought.

She doesn’t ask for anything at all.

But one tiny day she walks into the studio to find red on green and suddenly everything inside of her bursts into bloom. She’s alive. She’s so goddamn alive.

Then she walks into the kitchen to find Nina’s legs wrapped around Darren’s hips.

Lilith runs out of the house.

And she doesn’t look back.

a/n: Lol, I apparently can't read, because I totally skipped that line about doing something with Frances in it. Doi. I'll write you another then. In the meantime enjoy more from my messed up Pleasantview universe!

DO IT. I've never played FFVI, but I think I heard that it was pretty cool. Any writing is good writing, so I say go for it!

Well, I'll gladly accept a Lilith drabble instead of a Frances drabble. I really enjoy the glimpses at your Lilith, and I see that your Pleasantview is even more of a mess than my own is. That hood just pulls me into the worst soap opera drama too. It's like eating too much candy, when I'm playing that hood. I let myself go a bit too far, and then I'm left wondering if it was really a good idea.

To clarify a little... ACR actually allows for interactions between adults and teenagers (which I discovered when Mrs. Kim autonomously started hitting on young Scott Cole in my Prosperity hood - I was shocked yet enthralled by this Mrs. Robinson type behaviour). So, you can probably guess what I did, right? I'm not sure if I'll get into many of the details in my story, since Pleasantview is more in the background, and I may tone it down for my story... I'm not sure. I've toned things down in the past, as I've mentioned. ;)

I'm liking the teen/teen woohoo that ACR enables too. Now THAT seems more than realistic to me, and not all that controversial. There's no way Lilith/Dirk and Angela/Dustin are not getting it on as teens. It just makes sense to me.

Haha, Pleasantview is the perfect place for drama. It's already set up that way. I also like twisting things as much as I can. Go big or go home, right? So yeah, there's a Daniel/Kaylynn/Mary-sue love triangle, Don sleeping around (doi), Lilith in love with Darren and dating Dirk to get closer to him, Dina's doing her gold digger thing, Nina watches everything and doesn't really comment on it much, Dustin and Ang are actually the only happy couple, Cass eventually leaves after Don leaves her at the alter and she's also pregnant with Darren's kid only she doesn't love Darren at all but he's hopelessly enamored with her, Nina and Darren hook up at some point because they are the left behinds, ETC.

DON'T TONE ANYTHING DOWN. MORE INAPPROPRIATE SEXY TIMES PLZ.

Agreed, teen/teen woohoo makes a lot of sense. Although for some reason I think Ang might be a big prude. Or Dustin might be terrified of her getting pregnant and him having to help her raise it. But Lilith and Dirk would be a definite thing.

Yes, that's some good Pleasantview you have there. I approve.

I was all about Pleasantview until I started reading some sim stories about Strangetown. I really hadn't played it much before I started my story. Now I'm in love with it, but I still have a soft spot for the craziness of P'view.

And, maybe it goes without saying, but one of my pet peeves is when people clean it up, and reconcile the Pleasants, marry Don to Nina or Kaylynn, etc. Way to RUIN it, people.

(Though, I admit to liking to marry Cass off to Darren. Sometimes while secretly carrying Don's child, but not in my newest "offical" version. I'm trying to stick to what I see as most likely to happen, and that's Cass holding out on Don until marriage. The prude.)

No, I think that Angela seems to be perfect on the outside, but she's really just good at sneaking around. I think they're both up to no good.

Heheh. It's weird with so many people reading my story. I don't want to censor myself, but I can't help but feel a little odd about it all now. And I've never intended to tiptoe around sex, but I don't want to go into too many details either. So, I'm not going to censor myself, but some of it might just be implied. (You can read between the lines, right?)

Oh, and FFVI is the best final fantasy game, in my opinion, but I did stop playing them after FFVII (which I liked too, but it wasn't quite what VI was). From my cousin's reports, who continues to follow the series, those two are still the best, by far.

It's really just a typical game, and the story is fairly basic, with simplistic (badly translated) dialogue, but the bare bones of the story are just lovely, and it has some great characters. You know me... that's what wins me over.

I don't think I had the proper system for VI, maybe? I'd have to look. I've got an old sega genesis and a PS2. We're getting a Wii for Christmas, but that's mostly for my brother since me and my one sister are usually at college and Em doesn't play video games much.

I like Final Fantasy games, but I'm totally enamored with Kingdom Hearts. It was my very first game for the PS2 and basically combines my love of Disney with my love of crossovers. Also I used to dream of traveling from one fictional world to the other like they do in that game so it was pretty much tailor-made for me. Though i think the series is going downhill. They keep trying to make it this huge epic thing and I really just want to go and dance around in Atlantica with Ariel.

It was first released on the SNES, with a version for Playstation (I'm not sure if it was the first or the PS2, but you could play it either way, right?), and another on the Nintendo DS. If you get a Wii, I think you have access to some of the older Nintendo games games, am I right? Maybe you could try it on that system.

I'd like to get a Wii. We're pretty into Nintendo systems around here, but we haven't gone for the Wii yet.

The Disney/FF crossover seemed out there to me, and I never did play it, but my cousin liked it quite a bit. The most recent rpg I've played is probably Paper Mario, which I'm also quite fond of.

Hmmmm, I was actually thinking about getting a DS. They have a 179.00 bundle pack at KB Toys and everything has been marked down 30% (we're going out of business *sobs*) so it's not a bad deal. Still, I dunno if I can justify it to myself. Also we don't have any pink ones and that makes me sad. :(

I don't really have any loyalties to any game system company. I love the systems I do have though. My PS2 is named Lady (she is silver and so pretty) and our old Sega is still kicking.

Haha, well it was my very first game so I didn't even know what Final Fantasy was. I didn't care, I just wanted the Disney goodness. Also they're a lot more Disney than they are Final Fantasy. And the original characters are totally lovable. Plus you fight with Donald and Goofy! And you get to fight with Aladdin *swoons*! And Ariel! Plus some others that I didn't care as much about!

I love how visual your writing is. I tend to be much less descriptive, especially when it comes to Sims stories (the pictures are THERE!), but it's so powerful when you use it.

OM NOM NOM NOM Pleasantview Candy is so bad but so good...

My description is... different. Like, I basically never mention setting beyond like a line or two. And I don't describe people very much either.

I wuv me some Pleasantview goodness.
