Fanart/Meme - Hey Arnold! - Rhonda/Patty and a Drabble Meme

ART/MEME

Fandom/Universe: Hey Arnold!
Character(s): Rhonda, Patty

rhondapatty

I was bored yesterday and watched Grudge Match/Polishing Rhonda (Hey Arnold!) and Rhonda/Patty is still so very adorable.

Every person who wants to gets to request a drabble (real drabble: 100 words) from me. In return, you have to post this in your journal and write a drabble for me.

Post all fandoms you're willing to write for. Your friends can pick a relationship, a story arc, a missing scene, or pretty much anything they want, unless the author has previously mentioned that they will not write it. They comment with what they want, and you write drabbles and post it in your LiveJournal.

(i'm nice and don't make things mandatory. :3 )

Fandoms:

Hey Arnold!
Kingdom Hearts (don't like the organization much tho)
Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM
Avatar: the Last Airbender
The Sims 2 (may or may not end up canon compliant to SHWC)

Plus any of my original stories is fair game, I suppose. And no requesting real smut, because I am no good at that.

a/n: So I'm killing time until tomorrow when I get to go HOME (<3333)! I still have some stuff that I ought to be packing away, but that's all I've done ALLLL DAY, so I'd rather not.

Anyway, I'm doing this to kill time and maybe flex my writing muscles a bit (I used to write ALL THE TIME, WHAT HAPPENED?).

Lastly, I named 96 out of 151 pokemon on my very first try!

I REQUEST NEWT/WOLFIE SMUT.

jk. Although that hilarious morally reprehensible.

But if you are unwilling to do that, I request Zukaang (non-smut, unless it, y'know, goes that route on it's own).

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2008-12-15 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
When Aang slips his hand into Zuko’s, it feels like flying.

Zuko has never been good with words. He’s not a poet and he’s not a hero. He’s just trying to do the best thing for the world and even now he’s still trying to reclaim his ‘honor’ only the path to something like that has changed so drastically that he’s no longer really sure what honor means anymore, anyway.

But he thinks maybe Aang knows.

And so if he doesn’t pull away from the younger boy and if he lets Aang wrap thin (but still so impossibly muscular for a twelve year old) arms around his neck, it’s only because he’s hoping that Aang will show him the right way to go.

Zuko does not allow the boy to do these things because Zuko is in love with him.

(but sometimes zuko kisses aang’s arrows and prays that aang never leaves)

--

a/n: Ugh, yours was the worst BTW. I kept trying to start it, then I'd write a couple sentences and just stop. Me and Zukaang don't get along apparently.

ALSO YOU ARE A MONSTER. Newt/Wolfie? EW.

omg that's SO CUUUUUTE. AND UM. I'd like a Rhonda/Harold drabble. Or Mai/Ty Lee?

Rhonda/Harold

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2008-12-15 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
She doesn’t say that she loves him, because it would be a lie.

Rhonda Wellington-Lloyd loves herself and no one else.

But that doesn’t stop her from shivering when he trails a hand down her spine. And that doesn’t keep her from smiling when he kisses her cheeks and the faint blush on his cheeks spreads all the way to his ears. It isn’t enough to stop her from laughing when he takes her hand in his and spins her around and around until she feels like a princess dancing across the clouds.

Rhonda Wellington-Lloyd loves herself.

She does not say that she loves him.

But Harold knows.

a/n: I love them. <3333333

“I slept with him, y’know.” Lilith twirls a pencil around her nimble fingers, while Nina looks distractedly at the music notes in front of her. She hides behind her veil of red hair and says nothing.

“It was pretty good, too. I mean, I don’t have alot of experience, but I still know the fucking difference.” Lilith puts the pencil down and stares directly at Nina. “You wanna know how it happened?”

Nina’s hands brush against the tops of the keys, but she does not say a word.

“Well mom thought it’d be a fucking smart idea to invite Kaylynn to some stupid family dinner thing, whatever.” Lilith glares, but doesn’t get into it. It’s complicated. “And Kaylynn, the stupid bitch, brings Don along. What an idiot, right? So the dinner’s a disaster and Mom and Dad are yelling, Kaylynn’s crying, Angela is useless and I lead ol’ Donnie up to my room and shit happens.” Lilith winks as Nina runs the notes through her head one more time.

“What a creep, right? He’s about your age, y’know? Fucking twenty-something. And he sleeps with me anyway. Didn’t ask my age or anything. Idiot.” Lilith laughs, but Nina doesn’t miss the way her voice catches just a little. “Sick bastard, sleeping with teen girls and liking it. I was just trying to get off, but he’s still a goddamn freak. Gawds.”

Nina is silent.

Lilith stares at her. Just stares, while her insides rage.

“He didn’t even say your name, Nina.” Lilith says with as much venom as she can muster.

Nina’s head jerks around to stare straight at Lilith, her eyes wild.

“You are such a dumb twit.” Nina says as she rises to her feet and cowers over Lilith. Nina pushes her back against the piano keys, while grabbing a hold of a fistful of Lilith’s hair and placing the other hand against Lilith’s pale neck. Lilith let’s out a whimper as she licks her lips. Nina smiles as she leans closer, her lips resting at the place where Lilith’s neck and jaw collide.

“Darren Dreamer is never going to sleep with you.” Nina whispers. No hatred. No malice. Just simple fact.

Lilith breaks completely.

---

uh, you get more than 100 words, because this was too crack induced not to write. Apparently the pleasant-view in my head is pretty twisted. Also! The whole Kaylynn problem in the Pleasant house is basically that Mary-sue caught Daniel cheating, stayed with him (but hates his guts) and Kaylynn basically became part of the household and MS fell for her. So now Daniel and MS fight over who gets Kaylynn, who is sort of innocent and foreign and ridiculously confused about 'right and wrong' in my game. IDK.

[identity profile] showercapfrog.livejournal.com 2008-12-15 12:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I LOVE IT.
I love the way you portray Lilith - she's trying to be this hardass that has sex with OLDER MEN and then boasts about it, but you can also see how troubled and delicate she is. She has to boast about it to become comfortable with it, and she's got all this complicated family situation that she just can't handle, and so she has to have sex with random men and then brag to their girlfriends about it.

And Nina! God! She's so much more complex a character in your writing, even though she barely says anything, than I would ever have dreamed her being. To me she seems like such an airhead, but you've portrayed her as a much more complex and deep character.

*wanders off to mull over your writing some more*
THANK YOU.
And I'm not even going to comment on your Kalynn thing. It's just...so wow.

Re: I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS AT ALL. D:

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2008-12-15 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
My Lil is an asshole. Plain and simple. Like, she's basically broken inside, and it makes her act out, but at the core she's just... not a nice person. She wants to hurt people. And she's also apparently in love with Darren Dreamer (not Dirk, but that is WHY she's dating Dirk) and doesn't know how to deal with it, because she's a teenager and he's probably in his late thirties and he's also in love with Cass. And she probably also has daddy issues, what with Daniel being a flake and IDK.

I love Nina. Like, she's a romance sim, but the sex isn't for her so much as it is for other people. She's quiet and lovely and when she speaks it's usually important. I think a lot of people would find her sort of slow, because it just seems to take her so long to say anything. Also, she is completely in love with Don, but she'll never try to keep him to herself, because she knows he wouldn't stay.

I don't really see the Caliente sisters as airheads. Dina even more-so is actively trying to shape her life into this picture perfect thing by dating Mortimer. She wants to be rich, god-dammit.

Lol, I love Kaylynn. She's so wacky and adorable in mine and both Mary-sue and Daniel are completely smitten with her and then they snit at one another and Kaylynn loves them both so much. It's so dysfunctional.

My Dina has the LTW want to become a criminal mastermind, and it really fits my interpretation of her.

I've decided that the Caliente family is basically a crime family. They come from the Mediterranean side of Veronaville originally (as does Don), where there is a lot of organized crime. That's how I've come to read the whole Capp/Monty thing too.

Re: I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS AT ALL. D:

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2008-12-16 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
Haha, awesome. It makes total sense. Dina doesn't really interest me much as a sim, but I absolutely adore Nina. My Nina has everything going on under the surface, she doesn't really let her emotions get the best of her.

<333 that whole idea.

Oh my goodness. I love the deliciousness of this story, and where it could go. So very delightful! I am so very tempted to write a drabble on this now...

Re: I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS AT ALL. D:

[identity profile] showercapfrog.livejournal.com 2008-12-17 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
That's why I see Dina as smarter than Nina. She got all the money they have by marrying rich men (it's like prostitution, only it lasts longer...) and she supports her sister because their parents were useless, and so she looks after them with her looks.

Darren Dreamer... now that really is interesting. I didn't even notice it in the story (Dirk/Darren are too interchangeable for me to really follow :P)

I can understand the hurting people thing, and yes. I'd probably put it down to Daddy issues for her, but possibly also Mummy and Maid issues as well. Because she was probably the one who figured it out and Angela remains oblivious (because she's like that) and therefore unhurt, but Lilith can't understand why her dad would betray them like that and why her mum doesn't really fight at all etc etc etc.
Damn you! Your drabble will inspire one of my own!

The Calientes aren't a crime family to me. They're something much deeper and more evil (at least in my head :)

Re: I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS AT ALL. D:

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2008-12-18 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
I think Nina is smart, but a different sort of smart. I don't know, she's very good at understanding people, but she isn't logic smart and she doesn't have Dina's cunning.

And yeah, Lilith would be the one to know exactly what was going on with her messed up family, with Angela being oblivious and stupid about it. Ang doesn't dwell on the bad stuff and shoves everything under the rug - she's very much a surface kind of person. Also, I prefer Angela to Lilith for some reason.

I've done the whole "move Kaylynn in while Mary Sue is still there" thing too, with them all running around on each other (this was before jealousy mods for me, so I had to be careful).

I swear our brains are twisted in a very similar direction. It's so odd.

[identity profile] muahbabymuah.livejournal.com 2008-12-12 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I named 15 out of 151 AND I CHEATED GOD MY MEMORY SUCKS

That's a cute doodle, but you seem to be missing a Harold...with him either being lecherous or crying in the background. Or perhaps, if he were lucky, he could've been in the middle of the lovefest.

Anddd I request crack. More specifically, Griff/Ari. But if for some reason you don't want to do that, I'll offer a immoral alternative pairing: SONIC/ROBOTNIK. PICK YER POISON LITTLE LADY

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2008-12-15 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Sally couldn’t say it was completely unexpected, but she still isn’t quite sure how it got to this point. There were plenty of clues, sure. Sonic was priority one after all, even though they’d all assumed it was because he was, y’know, a threat. And Sonic tormented Robotnik like it was nobodies business. He even had that snarky nickname for him - Ro-butt-nik. Clever, or as clever as Sonic got anyway.

So Sally wasn’t half as surprised as she ought to have been. She was a pretty smart ground-squirrel after all.

But that didn’t meant that she didn’t get a little nauseous every time she accidentally walked in on one of their hedgehog-human snogging fests.

Ick.

--

a/n: I would have written Griff/Ari, but that would have meant digging out my DVDS and I was LAAAAAZY. SO YOU GET SONIC/ROBOTNIK. I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT.

Also, I love Harold/Rhonda and Patty/Rhonda, but Harold/Patty just hits all my "NO." buttons.

[identity profile] muahbabymuah.livejournal.com 2008-12-16 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
...It's so wonderful that I can actually picture this drabble hapening. I was giggling so much afterwards, but then I felt a little bad because of Sally. ): It's crack and these are fictional characters, sure, but it's got to suck that her long-time friend/lover hooked up with an psychotic meglomaniac who pretty much turned Mobius into a shithole. >_>; CURSE YOU ALLLYSSSSAAA

Ah, so Rhonda would have to be in the middle instead of Harold. Hey, that works too~

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2008-12-16 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
Lol, I had to write it from Sal's POV because if I tried to go from Sonic or Robotnik's I'd probably have vomited. Really, imagining fluffy moments between those two makes me a little nauseous.

I figure at this point Sally just would not give one shit. She'd be like: "what the fuck ever, this world is stupid." and then run around and be awesome, because that's who she is!

[identity profile] muahbabymuah.livejournal.com 2008-12-16 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but if you wrote it from either Sonic's or Robotnik's point of view, it would have doubled the hilarity. XD

And true that. Sally has to be one of the best damn female characters there is, in spite of all the haters who say otherwise. :)

I'd love to see more Sims 2 stuff, of course, since I'm not too familiar with these other fandoms. (Although, I read some of your Kingdom Hearts fics and liked them, even without knowing much about them.)

I'd love to see what you'd do with Frances, and that can be completely seperate from my story, of course. You don't have to used my canon.

Slightly related, but not really... I was struck with the urge to write an actual fanfic recently, which I haven't done in years. I used to dabble in some writing using the characters from FFVI, and I don't know how my brain went there so randomly (maybe the fact that I've played the game through about 20 times? *snicker*), but I came up with a great idea for a story. Too bad the fandom is so tiny that nobody would even care if I did put it to paper.

[identity profile] showercapfrog.livejournal.com 2008-12-15 12:11 pm (UTC)(link)
People would care! FFVI fans are RABID fans who will eat anything that comes out on it.
Okay, the whole 2 FFVI fans I know love it more than they love me.
ext_122042: (Default)

[identity profile] strange-tomato.livejournal.com 2008-12-16 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, you're right. I, as a rabid FFVI fan (though fairly well recovered and partly moved on), should know that. I knew the canon of that world inside and out. It was pretty silly. Now, I'd actually have to refresh my memory... but it would only take about 20 minutes, at most.

I think it might be the whole steampunk trend that's happening right now. Every time I see someone posting a necklace of keys, I start having a Locke Cole relapse. *sigh* My very first crush on a pixelated man.

It was the Amano drawings that won me over. They got me interested in drawing people for the first time too, and he's probably the reason I went on to art school. It set off a chain of events, so I have to really thank Amano for that. (I saw some of his drawings in real life, and they were amazing.)

A Pleasantview...thing!

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2008-12-15 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Darren Dreamer spends his days painting black on brown and trying not to think about anything at all. He sighs softly with each downward stroke of the brush and she has never seen anything so beautiful in all her life. She imagines what it would feel like to have one of those soft, painter’s hands trail down her spine. She flushes at the thought.

She doesn’t ask for anything at all.

But one tiny day she walks into the studio to find red on green and suddenly everything inside of her bursts into bloom. She’s alive. She’s so goddamn alive.

Then she walks into the kitchen to find Nina’s legs wrapped around Darren’s hips.

Lilith runs out of the house.

And she doesn’t look back.

--

a/n: Lol, I apparently can't read, because I totally skipped that line about doing something with Frances in it. Doi. I'll write you another then. In the meantime enjoy more from my messed up Pleasantview universe!

DO IT. I've never played FFVI, but I think I heard that it was pretty cool. Any writing is good writing, so I say go for it!

Re: A Pleasantview...thing!

[identity profile] strange-tomato.livejournal.com 2008-12-16 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I'll gladly accept a Lilith drabble instead of a Frances drabble. I really enjoy the glimpses at your Lilith, and I see that your Pleasantview is even more of a mess than my own is. That hood just pulls me into the worst soap opera drama too. It's like eating too much candy, when I'm playing that hood. I let myself go a bit too far, and then I'm left wondering if it was really a good idea.

To clarify a little... ACR actually allows for interactions between adults and teenagers (which I discovered when Mrs. Kim autonomously started hitting on young Scott Cole in my Prosperity hood - I was shocked yet enthralled by this Mrs. Robinson type behaviour). So, you can probably guess what I did, right? I'm not sure if I'll get into many of the details in my story, since Pleasantview is more in the background, and I may tone it down for my story... I'm not sure. I've toned things down in the past, as I've mentioned. ;)

I'm liking the teen/teen woohoo that ACR enables too. Now THAT seems more than realistic to me, and not all that controversial. There's no way Lilith/Dirk and Angela/Dustin are not getting it on as teens. It just makes sense to me.

Re: A Pleasantview...thing!

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2008-12-16 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
Haha, Pleasantview is the perfect place for drama. It's already set up that way. I also like twisting things as much as I can. Go big or go home, right? So yeah, there's a Daniel/Kaylynn/Mary-sue love triangle, Don sleeping around (doi), Lilith in love with Darren and dating Dirk to get closer to him, Dina's doing her gold digger thing, Nina watches everything and doesn't really comment on it much, Dustin and Ang are actually the only happy couple, Cass eventually leaves after Don leaves her at the alter and she's also pregnant with Darren's kid only she doesn't love Darren at all but he's hopelessly enamored with her, Nina and Darren hook up at some point because they are the left behinds, ETC.

DON'T TONE ANYTHING DOWN. MORE INAPPROPRIATE SEXY TIMES PLZ.

Agreed, teen/teen woohoo makes a lot of sense. Although for some reason I think Ang might be a big prude. Or Dustin might be terrified of her getting pregnant and him having to help her raise it. But Lilith and Dirk would be a definite thing.

Re: A Pleasantview...thing!

[identity profile] strange-tomato.livejournal.com 2008-12-16 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, that's some good Pleasantview you have there. I approve.

I was all about Pleasantview until I started reading some sim stories about Strangetown. I really hadn't played it much before I started my story. Now I'm in love with it, but I still have a soft spot for the craziness of P'view.

And, maybe it goes without saying, but one of my pet peeves is when people clean it up, and reconcile the Pleasants, marry Don to Nina or Kaylynn, etc. Way to RUIN it, people.

(Though, I admit to liking to marry Cass off to Darren. Sometimes while secretly carrying Don's child, but not in my newest "offical" version. I'm trying to stick to what I see as most likely to happen, and that's Cass holding out on Don until marriage. The prude.)

No, I think that Angela seems to be perfect on the outside, but she's really just good at sneaking around. I think they're both up to no good.

Heheh. It's weird with so many people reading my story. I don't want to censor myself, but I can't help but feel a little odd about it all now. And I've never intended to tiptoe around sex, but I don't want to go into too many details either. So, I'm not going to censor myself, but some of it might just be implied. (You can read between the lines, right?)

Re: A Pleasantview...thing!

[identity profile] strange-tomato.livejournal.com 2008-12-16 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, and FFVI is the best final fantasy game, in my opinion, but I did stop playing them after FFVII (which I liked too, but it wasn't quite what VI was). From my cousin's reports, who continues to follow the series, those two are still the best, by far.

It's really just a typical game, and the story is fairly basic, with simplistic (badly translated) dialogue, but the bare bones of the story are just lovely, and it has some great characters. You know me... that's what wins me over.

Re: A Pleasantview...thing!

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2008-12-16 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think I had the proper system for VI, maybe? I'd have to look. I've got an old sega genesis and a PS2. We're getting a Wii for Christmas, but that's mostly for my brother since me and my one sister are usually at college and Em doesn't play video games much.

I like Final Fantasy games, but I'm totally enamored with Kingdom Hearts. It was my very first game for the PS2 and basically combines my love of Disney with my love of crossovers. Also I used to dream of traveling from one fictional world to the other like they do in that game so it was pretty much tailor-made for me. Though i think the series is going downhill. They keep trying to make it this huge epic thing and I really just want to go and dance around in Atlantica with Ariel.

Re: A Pleasantview...thing!

[identity profile] strange-tomato.livejournal.com 2008-12-16 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
It was first released on the SNES, with a version for Playstation (I'm not sure if it was the first or the PS2, but you could play it either way, right?), and another on the Nintendo DS. If you get a Wii, I think you have access to some of the older Nintendo games games, am I right? Maybe you could try it on that system.

I'd like to get a Wii. We're pretty into Nintendo systems around here, but we haven't gone for the Wii yet.

The Disney/FF crossover seemed out there to me, and I never did play it, but my cousin liked it quite a bit. The most recent rpg I've played is probably Paper Mario, which I'm also quite fond of.

Re: A Pleasantview...thing!

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2008-12-16 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmmm, I was actually thinking about getting a DS. They have a 179.00 bundle pack at KB Toys and everything has been marked down 30% (we're going out of business *sobs*) so it's not a bad deal. Still, I dunno if I can justify it to myself. Also we don't have any pink ones and that makes me sad. :(

I don't really have any loyalties to any game system company. I love the systems I do have though. My PS2 is named Lady (she is silver and so pretty) and our old Sega is still kicking.

Haha, well it was my very first game so I didn't even know what Final Fantasy was. I didn't care, I just wanted the Disney goodness. Also they're a lot more Disney than they are Final Fantasy. And the original characters are totally lovable. Plus you fight with Donald and Goofy! And you get to fight with Aladdin *swoons*! And Ariel! Plus some others that I didn't care as much about!

I wuv me some Pleasantview goodness.
