a/n: I owe a lot of Troy's design to [livejournal.com profile] engelen. She made some absolutely awesome designs for Jeff, Britta, Troy and Annie and I love them so fucking much. So I totally stole her outfit design for Troy (I think it's based on a real Troy outfit actually). SO SHAMELESS.

Britta's outfit/design was more of me having fun, but I tried to keep her in things that I thought she'd actually wear. The second one is a little weird, but she's covered by Troy so whatever.

OMG SO ADORABLE SERIOUSLY

Like, I have favorite-character love for these two, and while I am such Jeff/Britta (because they're both kind of awesome douches) there needs to be more Troy/Britta. Even if it is just him having a crush on her, or maybe even more dancing.

Seriously, more dancing. That needs to happen, like, this Thursday.

Haha, actually I think that's a big part of Troy/Britta's appeal for me. They're both my favorites! And they also have really awesome chemistry! And are adorable. And funny.

I agree on loving Jeff/Britta because they are awesome douches though. I also love them because I pick my favorite pairings by how likely they are to blow shit up when they get together and I feel like Jeff and Britta have great potential to cause explosions. CLEARLY THEY SHOULD MAKE OUT MORE.

I was sad that we didn't see Britta dance with Troy/Jeff at all at the end of the last ep! I def. hope they don't drop her fondness for dancing - one of my favorite continuity bits is at the end of Communication Studies when it cuts to Britta dancing with Troy. I love the idea of them being dance buddies FOREVER.

That is like the best justification for Jeff/Britta. THEY WILL CAUSE EXPLOSIONS AND AN EXCESS OF ZANY SCHEMES. Also cause their making out is totally hilarious. Like, the tongue kissing! The angry making out!

I looooooved Troy's jumpy twirl thing over the janitor in the last ep. Yes! They should be dance buddies and like, be in Swan Lake together! Or at least in more interpretive dance.

I have a definite love of shenanigans and like... buddy pairings where the two characters are like partners-in-crime and probably gonna fuck shit up when they get together. And in Community Jeff/Britta are one another's go-to person and they're also really similar and simultaneous incredibly different from each other and I just think they're so completely volatile that when they get together chaos breaks loose and FUCK YES TO THAT.

My guess is that Gillian isn't a super comfortable dancer (which is okay because it just means that Britta's sort of an unskilled dancer who tries really hard which I like). Whereas Donald, Joel and Danny are like: "FUCK YEAH WE'LL DANCE." Ken too actually.

OH GOD I JUST REALIZED THAT I WANT AN EPISODE WHERE THEY HAVE TO PUT ON A PLAY. OMG I NEED IT NOW.

Yes. Like, all the episodes that I love have them hatching schemes or teaming up, even if it's not just Jeff and Britta (like Shirley and Annie! Buddy cops!) and it's because of exactly what you said about their personalities. Also because half the time they share the same brain, in all the wrong ways.

That actually makes sense, but it ties in nicely with her character. (Also I have the personal opinion that tap is awkward, but I take modern...) Oh and ever since the Emmys opener it's like, JOEL DANCE MORE ON THE SHOW.

I am definitely a fan of Jeff-Britta team up episodes. I think my favorite is when they team up in Romantic Expressionism actually. How they're both trying to get Annie away from Vaughn for mostly selfish reasons (though I do think there was a tiny bit of genuine "OH GOD WHAT IF SHE ENDS UP WITH STARBURNS" mixed in there), but they can't admit that until everything falls apart and setting themselves up as Annie's "Parents" and that little scene where they're celebrating their victory and she just sort of casually asks if he wants kids? IDK, there's something so sweet and simple about that.

Uh, basically I really like Jeff/Britta and I sort of think that she's the girl he should really wind up with because they manage to be complementary, but also different. I think they have the ability to have some permanence between them - whereas I see Jeff/Annie, Britta/Troy and most other Community ships as couplings that would be fun flings, but that don't have a lot of lasting ability.

JOEL SHOULD ALWAYS DANCE MORE.

A musical episode would be 100x awesome! But like... I want it to be them actually putting on a performance instead of just... a random musical ep?

(Joel is so bad! And I love how she puts her hand up as if to say: "OMG I can't believe you did that. I can't even look at you right now OMG.")

Yes. So much. And I love how also neither of them wants to admit to the other that they're being selfish, because...yeah. It all comes together so awesomely! And yes! That scene of adorableness!

Basically, this. Although I can't quite get behind Jeff/Annie, even though I've tried- idk, it just squicks me out a little- but like, I want to see Britta/Troy and Jeff/Abed (drunk dancing scene yes please) and all that, but Jeff and Britta... it's like, they're going to need to keep one-upping each other for life.

Yeah. Like they all have to do Shakespeare for extra credit or something?

(YES OMG YES. And then there's the one where he, like, puts his hand on her thigh and is all, I warmed it up for you and she's just like ....eww.)
