So we're now doing HA!-themed iScribble parties on Saturday nights. It's kind of low key and slow, but still fun. Lotsa lazy doodles and general conversation. <3333 HA! Fandom.

Anyway, this was my welcome to everyone. :D




I drew Helga and R-I-Perils drew Arnold. Just a warmup really.




Rhonda is me and Eugene is 8nnemiek's! I love Rhonda and Eugene's friendship in the episode where Rhonda gets glasses. I love the idea that they stay friends throughout the years.




Bloochikin jumped in! And scribbled Helga giving Arnold a piggy back ride. Then alison_swift put in a Harold.

Everyone took a corner! Top-left is ferricent, top-right is mizunosakura, bottom-left is DoofusPrime (i THINK that's the correct DA link) and I'm the bottom-right with some cutesy Rhonda/Harold.




ferricent started drawing Arnold as some sort of super hero so I had to throw in a Helga. It just makes SENSE.




Lila! I like Lila, but I think she was poorly used in the series. Her character development stopped once Arnold started crushing on her. She became a very flat, one-trick sort of character used only to piss Helga off.

That sucks.




Ellie and Tass! I've been drawing these two a lot lately. I'd really like to develop their story further as it's mostly random plot bits without that much in the way of a coherent story. But they're super adorable and I want them to be together ALWAYS.




Ellie in the outfit she starts the series in! She's completely bundled in this ugly robe thing so that none of her skin accidentally touches anyone else's. She's in total control.




Tass understands what Ellie is thinking/feeling a lot of the time, but sometimes he gets mixed up. Especially when it comes to how she feels about him specifically, because I think he has a hard time accepting that someone could really love him.




Teen!Ellie and Duncan! Oh man I love Duncan. He's like the sweetest dude in the entire world. TOO BAD HE DIES. Actually, his death is the first time Ellie really begins to understand her powers (when she touches someone's skin the first time she sees their death). Before that she'd always sort of shrugged it off as just something that happened and didn't really connect the things she saw with reality, but then she watches Duncan die in the exact same way she saw it happen years ago and suddenly it all falls into place.




Lol. This is just me being ridiculous with facebook graffiti.




a/n: Spent all day in the painting room and I am EXHAUSTED. Also, I like my paintings a lot more when I rush them. Things just seem to flow better when I procrastinate and have to rush to get something finished in like... 3 hours.

I'm still unhappy with my tags. Ha. I knew I would be. I really need to figure out a good system before I go and start redoing everything. Something simple, but efficient. Ugh, I'll figure it out one day.

And you're right, Lila is so much more interesting in "Little Miss Perfect" and "School Play" than...any episode after that. Also, Arnold is not a very likable character when he's crushing on Lila. It was a bad move all around, or at least written poorly.

The HA! Kids LOVE dicks (and often ARE dicks).

Yeah, I agree. I think Lila had a lot of potential to be a character in her own right, but they sort of put her in this role to be nothing but a prize/obstacle and she didn't really get to do anything from then on.

I mean, I don't completely hate her being the object of Arnold's affections, but I think it could have been handled a lot better. And yeah, Arnold's crush on Lila did often make him kind of unlikable. She doesn't like you, dude - let it GO.
