From right after Helga gets shot. Originally I was thinking that Arnold would be carrying La Corazon with him, but canonically it'd be too big for him to hide it on his body. So he had to ditch it.

Helga crying and bleeding after being shot is there too. Up in the upper right there's some of her putting her hair up in a bow. I still haven't decided what happened to her bow, but I know she doesn't wear it anymore.

And the Arnold at the bottom right is talking about crossing the rooftops.





Helga telling Arnold her plan to run out the back. Lots of Arnold sort of taking the lead and forcing Helga to keep moving.

Also, I was originally gonna put in a chase scene with Helga driving and Arnold shooting, but I think I'm gonna try and keep guns out of Helga and Arnold's hands for the most part.





There's going to be two instances of Helga getting prettied up. These pretty designs are actually old now - I'm going in a different direction with the outfits now.

Oh and at the bottom right is a short-haired Helga sipping a smoothy and staring at some TVs in a shop window.





Some designs for some of the minor characters in this story as well as three Helgas. Rhonda, Curly, Phoebe and Gerald. Helga is super pretty in her dressy.

Awww I love these soo much. :) Thanks a ton for sharing! You sketches have so much life to them and are very easy to look at. I really enjoy the one of Arnold pointing in the bottom right corner on the first one, Helga with her arms behind her head on the top of the third one an the Curly makes me smile!!! Also: LOL at the car chase scene! Her expression is perfect. <3 <3

I sketch things all the time and only finish a tiny percentage of things, so I might as well share what I've got. Plus they're usually super important for my thought process.

Curly's got like a really wonderful and hilarious part in the story. I can't wait to get to it.

Haha, it's probably a good thing that I dropped the car chase, but it would have been hilarious if I'd kept it in. She'd be so freaked!

These are great :D I'm sensing that Helga'll be cutting her hair fairly short at some point? By the look of her in the last set of sketches with the short hair, it's probably during an epic moment. I'm probably wrong though |D And she does look very pretty in her dressy ♥ I also really like the sketch of her where she's putting her arms behind her head. I like the one with Arnold's hair all fancy and his cheeks all blushed :D

Haha, I'm actually still debating that whole detail. I love epic hair cutting scenes, but I honestly just don't know where I'd fit it in at the moment. So it's still a maybe! But I love that you caught on to it.

I love dressies.

Also! Do you think it is sometimes ridiculously hard to make Arnold look older and not like a nine year old, because I struggle with that CONSTANTLY.

It really is! Even in the 'Married' episode Arnold still looks youngish. More so in his own dream than in Helga's but still you're not alone with that, no XD
