For some reason, I am prone to losing files on my mac (usually because I'm not used to it), and when I do they rarely show up in spotlight even though they're on my computer. I don't know why this is, it's probably something I'm doing wrong but maybe it is just some kind of mac weirdness?

Usually I end up finding them in Recent Documents or something like that, even though they didn't show up before.

No, but like... I've searched for other similar things and they are showing up fine - things I knew I did right around the same time, but were just in a different folder. I also did this thingy that shows all the folders I've fiddled with in the last week and it's def not in there. Like, I honestly have no idea what happened, because I haven't touched that file since Wednesday. :(

Hmm..This is about the time when I usually grab my computer by the monitor and SHAKE IT REALLY HARD WHILE CALLING IT DEGRADING NAMES.

I find that this helps teach it humility and shows it that I am in control and could break it AT ANY MOMENT if I wanted to. Which is also why my computer and I can never truly consummate our love. ;D

Also I really hope you find the picture because I noticed you've been working on it for a while and I saw the stuff you posted already and I was excited to see it even though I don't really know what it's all about and... :(

I have been working on it for awhile! Three weeksish? Like, I was taking my time for once! And I had it all worked out! And I was being deliberate about it and determined to make it the best thing I'd ever made!

I'm the opposite. It's right about now that I whisper soft words of encouragement to it. Coaxing the things I need out of it.

Either that or now is the point where I head to google and go: "OMG WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT AM I GOING TO DIE?" word for word in the search bar. Obviously that doesn't usually give me the answers I need to do anything productive-like.

But me and my comp are usually BFFs! We snuggle! I give him lots of smooches and he feeds my addictions!

Well, actually I'm really nice to my laptop...maybe it just seems delicate and fragile to me and also was expensive and is kind of mysterious to me because I don't really know what it looks like inside and none of my relatives built it.

But the desktop was made from scratch and is big and metal and butch and I've been inside it and I feel like it can take a punch so sometimes I hit it. Also it's screen isn't part of the actual computer and is a shitty CRT so I shake it and hit it a lot. I only hit the computer itself when it gets one of its wires stuck in a fan and I'm too lazy to open it up and pull it out. But that is a gentle tap, like burping a baby.

I wonder where it is.. :\ I don't understand where it could have gone, 'cause like...even if you closed it without saving, there'd still be SOMETHING there, right? This sounds really frustrating. :(

And it's not just the file! It's the whole folder! But it's the only thing that is missing! Which seems like maybe I was drunk deleting shit. AND I WASN'T.

Or some bitch ho fiddled with something. I'm not even completely sure when it disappeared. Somewhere between Wednesday and now. It's just WEIRD. I've had things disappear all together before (but got them back), but I've never just had a random folder up and leave.
