Title: Broken People

It’s becoming harder and harder to remember why she loved him.
The worst is always right after they have sex. When she is lying beside him and he’s muttering incoherently under his breath as he runs his hands over her. It’s the worst because she knows that he’s trying to find things inside of her that aren’t there.
Like when he runs his hands through her hair and brings it close to his mouth and mutters: “redredred” over and over again (red like ron who I loved once) and when his fingers trail down to her hips and he traces the familiar feminine curves with gentle hands (soft like hermione who was everything) and she wants to SCREAM at him, because she is not them and will never be them and they are dead and she is alive and why can he not accept that?
She knows he’s crazy. Utterly insane. Sometimes he’ll slip and call her by their names and once he even refered to her as “mother” (she had red hair too, like ron and she was smart, like hermione and you are nothing like them, but I’m going to pretend because otherwise I’ll die) and it always cuts like knives to know that he never ever searches inside of her for what she really is. He doesn’t want to know her. He wants everything he cannot have and she wants everything that he is and they are broken people living in a world of loss.
Sometimes she thinks about leaving.
She never does.
(and the next night he calls her ‘ron’ and she only cries a little)

miss_faerytale as she made an H/G request...sadly it isn't fluffy or cute. Its really tragic and more Harry/Ron/Hermione (my HP OT3) than anything. Poor Ginny - she is so used.
