Fandom/Universe: Scooby-Doo
Character(s): Daphne, Fred, Shaggy, Velma

01

Daphne's probably my favorite Scooby-Doo character. I tend to love female characters over male ones and if there's a girl wearing red/purple/pink than I'm pretty much theirs forever.

Also, the Scooby gang is super fun to draw because their designs are fairly simple and I've seen them since I was a kid. So they're super familiar.

02

Allow me to sum up Mystery Incorporated for you. I left out Scooby partially because he doesn't need to see this ridiculousness and partially because I forgot him. :( Oh. Also because I can't draw dogs.

03

[livejournal.com profile] alison_swift drew some Shaggy/Velma! And then I added a dancey dressy Daphne on the left.

04

Um. Daphne/Fred in a possible future time of Mystery Incorporated with the gang at a dance of some sort and Daphne wears a mask even though it's not really a masquerade ball and Freddie is totally smitten with her for reasons he cannot explain. MAYBE HIS ~FEELINGS~ MAKE HIM STOP THINKING ABOUT TRAPS FOR ONE GODDAMN MINUTE. IDEK.

Shut up I've shipped them for yeeeeeears.

a/n: Drew more than I expected too! Thank you for the inspiration new Scooby-Doo series! :D

HOW MUCH DO I LOVE DAPHNE/FRED? A lot. It might have something to do with my love for Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. Or vice versa. And also Daphne wears my favorite color!

I could totally get on board with Velma/Shaggy, though I think when I was little I shipped Velma/Books and platonic!Shaggy/Scooby.

P.S. I am totally watching True Blood right now! But I'm still finishing Season 2.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. were pretty much awesome as Daphne and Fred and I loved their relationship development. <333333333

My favorite color is actually green, but I looooove fictional girls who wear "feminine" colors like pinks and purples (red too).

I've never really been sold on Velma/Shaggy before though I think their interactions in the second movie were crazy adorable. However, I'm really digging the way the new Scooby-Doo series has been handling Velma/Shaggy. It's so unexpectedly canon!

True Blood is insane but also cool. I still have to see tonight's new episode actually. Along with the season premiere episode of Mad Men.

Haha, I could ship pretty much any combination of the Scooby characters, but I at the end of the day my favorite combination is Shaggy/Velma and Fred/Daphne. :3

I always liked Daphne/Shaggy because they always hung out together in the spinoff shows. When Velma and Fred mysteriously disappeared to go become functional members of society, Daphne and Shaggy were still hunting ghosts in a van... Except Scrappy was always with them -A-

Yeah, Daphne/Shaggy is definitely like right after the other two ships because they have so much canon together. Though I think I've always sort of viewed their relationship as being very sibling-like?

I think the only thing in Scooby-Doo I couldn't ship is any animal/human pairing and Fred/Shaggy. Daphne/Velma? A+

They have so much canon, yeah, and The (Live-Action) Movie made me secretly ship Fred/Velma even though I know it might be some sort of Scooby Doo Heresy. Word on Daphne/Velma, though, and I agree about Fred/Shaggy being very DNW. They just somehow have never seemed to have any sort of meaningful interaction with each other, despite driving everywhere and living through death-defying hijinks, somehow? It's like anything they have ever said to each other has had to go through the medium of one or both of the ladies. In the original series, anyway. They talked more in the chibis spinoff (A Pup Named Scooby-Doo?) as I recall, then all the weird future 80s spinoffs happened (like Scooby Doo and the Thirteen Ghosts, whigh was just....trippy) in which Fred did not participate, and I haven't seen any of the newer 90s/00s series.

Eeeee! These are all so great. I'm especially digging the bottom picture there. Though Shaggy/Velma is my main OTP for this fandom, Fred/Daphne is sweet too:)

Now I must do a Shaggy/Velma fill for a Schmoop Bingo prompt...
